Ordination of Dr Elina Wright and Deacon Simon Macaulay

Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Psalm 139:16

We celebrated with great joy the Ordination to the Priesthood of Deacon Simon Macaulay and Dr Elina Wright at Gustav Adolf Nordic Lutheran Church in Liverpool on Saturday, 25 April. Lutheran clergy from around the country joined in active participation, and it was a blessing to have Anglican priests among us joining in the “Laying on of Hands” ceremony, strengthening the Porvoo Agreement between our churches. The new pastors will serve in Liverpool and Nottingham. Thanks be to God!
